Your Voice Matters

Truth is unique to all of us.  It can change over time.  What is truth for me will not necessarily be truth for you.  When we can truly speak our truth, other people can hear us and respond to us because we are coming from a place within ourselves that is genuine.  We all have different views and perceptions of the world, and if I am comfortable standing in my own truth, then I am comfortable standing with you in your truth as well. In order to find our truth, we need to silence the chatter of the world and go inside ourselves.  We need to hear our own voice in order to speak it.

In speaking our truth we live with compassion, fulfillment and authenticity.  But why is it hard to speak our truth? We allow fear to keep us from sharing ourselves and our truths with the world.

I encourage you to go for a walk this week, taking ten or fifteen minutes to yourself. Take this time in silence and as you walk think about your life right now. Do you know what your truth is? Are you comfortable speaking your truth? If you are not comfortable speaking your truth, what is holding you back?  If you are comfortable speaking your truth, what allows you to do so.  Are you comfortable sometimes speaking your truth and not at others?  When you return home take some time to journal the thoughts and feelings that came up for you.

A balanced Throat Chakra will allow you to truly know yourself, listen to others, express knowledge and know your inner truth and convey it to the world.
